CULTURED PEARLS
Ming cultured pearls are one of the most recent pearl innovations. They are freshwater cultured pearls with a nucleus. They are found in the hidden lakes and barely detectable small tributaries of the huge Yangtze River system, especially in Hunan province.
Their special feature is their unique colour spectrum, ranging from feminine pink and rose tones to scarlet, peach, bronze and deep violet tones; a palette that no other pearls can produce. They reach sizes of up to 16 mm.
